This is a good book for people who want the basic prayers of the Catholic Church. If you already belong to a Catholic Church, chances are you already know these prayers...even as a convert. The Legion of Mary gave me pamphlets and such when I joined that had most of these prayers...though there were a few I didn't know. This book needs an imteractive table of contents to allow easy access to each prayer. I use a prayer book when I want to say a particular prayer and paging through without any idea if the prayer is even in this book is annoying.
Very easy to read book that I use every morning to start each day. Some of the wording has changed a bit from today's Catholic Prayers used at Mass but same message is there. Great little book with such a powerful reminder of our Catholic Faith. Beginners will love this book. It will definitively bring Peace and Purpose to all who read it.
When I was a young girl I went to church every Sunday. I prayed all these prayers but now that I've grown up I have forgotten most of these prayers and are now starting to learn them again. It is so nice to know they are still being said and that people still believe in them. Thanks for the reminder and here's to me learning them all over again.
The messages themselves are good, but too short; there are two days on each page. Per day, with the giant print, there is one line of scripture, about 5 lines of prayer and 5 lines of reflection. I prefer having more to absorb as inspiration.
I just purchased this book and reviewed it. As a cradle Catholic I have known these prayers forever. This book not only gives us the basic prayers but also the history of the prayers. I love the way the Divine Mercy is explained and complete instructions on the prayers, and the same fine instructions for the Holy Rosary. All the prayers are complete not abrivated.
I found this book to be Very helpful in learning the specific prayers. I especially Loved the rosary guide. Great book!!
