I got this for my dad. He is a huge history buff and particularly enjoys first-hand accounts from people living in the thick of it. He thinks the selections in here are relevant and seems to be enjoying it quite a lot.He's very hard to buy for since he's read so very many books but this one seemed to fill a niche that had been missed before.
