I found this book to be a disappointment since the font size was a bit hard to read due to the smaller than normal book dimensions plus the fact that the classification system used was a little confusing (for example, I would think the F-15 Eagle would be listed in one section with all its variants instead of being split up between the fighter and bomber sections).
I love airplane books -- from the time I was 7 years old (and I'm now 59). This is an excellent reference book on almost every fighter and bomber ever flown by any air force. Well researched, great photos, yet not overly technical for the non technical minded.
Gives highly detailed information regarding all areas of interest: Construction, Staffing, Weapons, Service Periods, etc. You would not be disappointed!
This book has a lot of information that I have been looking for. Even though I can never fly because of my vision, I have always loved fighter planes, and this book puts almost ALL of them in one place, which is AWESOME!!!
This was a gift for a hard to buy for family member. SO pleased to hear that he keeps it close by and looks at it often!
