Available To Downloads

This exciting new resource contains selected care plans for pediatric, maternal, and psychiatric nursing in addition to medical-surgical nursing care plans ― 101 care plans in all. This allows students to use one book throughout the curriculum. Care plans are organized in four separate sections (medical-surgical, pediatric, maternal, and psychiatric) and within each section alphabetically by disorder/condition. The open and attractive two-color design, the latest NANDA nursing diagnoses, and desired outcomes featuring specific timeframes, make this the most student-friendly and clinically relevant nursing care plan book. The unique "four books in one" approach includes pediatric, maternal, and psychiatric nursing care plans in addition to medical-surgical care plans.Written by clinical experts in each subject area to ensure the most current, accurate, and clinically-relevant content available. Each care plan employs a consistent format of: Overview, Health Care Setting, Assessment, Diagnostic Tests, Nursing Diagnoses, and Patient-Family Teaching and Discharge Planning.Detailed rationales for each nursing intervention help students to apply concepts to clinical practice. An open and attractive two-color design facilitates quick and easy retrieval of information.Nursing interventions and rationales are listed in a clear two-column format to make the information more accessible.Related NIC interventions and NOC outcomes are listed for each nursing diagnosis. The Patient-Family Teaching and Discharge Planning section highlights key patient education topics, as well as resources for further information.Health Care Setting is specified for each care plan, since these conditions are treated in various settings such as hospital, primary care, long-term care facility, community, and home care.Outcome criteria with specific timelines enable nurses to set realistic goals for nursing outcomes and provide quality, cost-effective care.Includes the most recent NANDA Taxonomy II nursing diagnoses.Separate care plans on Pain and End-of-Life Care focus on palliative care for patients with terminal illnesses, as well as relief of acute and chronic pain.

I reviewed 4 different Nursing care plan books; overall, this one is the best and clearest. I would highly recommend this one over others. It is the only one that clearly articulates, NUMERICALLY, what a nursing goal should aim to achieve so you can actually MEASURE if your interventions were successful. Oh..and it really is easy to read.

This is the best book I've found to do those pain-staking care plans when I was in Nursing school. Info is easy to find & the interventions & rationals are short & sweet:)

I've got to say I love the way this book was organized. It goes from clinical areas (MEDSURG, OB, PEDs,etc.) to body systems (GI, neuro, etc.) to disease/condtions to NANDAs r/t to the cause (also pertinent interventions/rationales/lab values). Highly recommended to those who do not want to pull all nighters to finish their care plans or carry numerous expensive books with information you may never use. Instead zip through them like pros and only have one great book at hand!

My instructor suggested I get All-in-One because it will serve me through my rotations (Med-Surg, Peds, OB and Psych.) I love this book! It is so much better than the one we were required to buy. It is the only care plan book I've seen that gives measurable outcomes, which are so helpful in practice, not just in writing the plans. The rationales are detailed and easy to understand, and I quickly find what I am looking for. Highly recommended!

I'm in nursing school and our instructors had recommended a different book for writing our care plans. After a semester of trying to use the book they recommended, I noticed one of my friends using this book. I purchased it for this semester and couldn't be happier. It is an older edition but it is a great resource and exactly what I was looking for. Plus the price....come on!!

I am very impressed with the service that I received. The item was received within the specified time-frame. The item was received as described - new. I would highly recommend. The book will definitely come in handy with my nursing care plans.

The book was great for the price I paid! I was not expecting a fully intact book with no significant damage, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but after looking through it, it seems like it's going to be very helpful with my careplans.

This book seems to be helpful if you are searching for really specific diagnoses, but not for just a broad range. For example, risk for impaired skin integrity is due to chemotherapy. It is very specific in each category, and makes it impossible to use for a regular patient care plan. This was partly my fault because i did not read into it a lot before purchasing (bought in the store). I am hoping that I can return it and get a general care plan book, that is not so specific in the related to and evidenced by parts. This one would probably come in handy when I am in specialties phase this summer, however I am in an accelerated LPN program, and our specialties are short in length, so it is a waste of money. I do agree with a previous review that the book is not very well organized either.
