Had to get this as a textbook for the Nursing program. Really think it's useful. Glad I bought it instead of renting it because it is very useful with assessments and critical thinking skills. I see myself using it after I graduate.
I got it in addition for required "big version" of a book for my FNP assessment class. I just returned back from my immersion weekend/test. I passed the test! This is much easier reading than big Jarvis book. Highly recommend for other students if you are too busy and you need a quick refresher course.
Easy to read & very helpful in mastering head to toe assessment. Will be using this pocket book throughout my nursing career !

Very helpful but if you have the textbook you don't need both.. Wouldnt buy it again
I have been an RN for 13 years but decided to pursue my BSN this year. This book was required for my first class. It is a great review of materials that I covered many years ago. The information is very condensed and easy to find. I would recommend this book for both students and senior nurses as a reference.
I take this with me on my clinical rotations. It is handy and a quick reminder if you forget a term. It fits well in a lab coat or large pockets on scrub pants!
