It is the same old model despite all the digital change and the advances in medicine.This is a phenomenal book for helping one understand the basic reasons why the chest radiograph looks the way it does. Physiology is always central to helping us understand what is going that makes the radiograph appear the way it does. If one understands the basic construct then the plain film (it can be applied to cross sectional imaging as well) provides the answers to many critical questions.I learned this approach as a resident many years ago and this book has helped me reevaluate my approach so that in my teaching I can pass the same information, correct information, to the residents of today.Understand how the machine works and its failure will never mystify one.A great book full of studied facts.
This classic textbook on interpretation of conventional chest radiographs is unexcelled in its discussion of that topic. Absolutely outstanding. Wish I had purchased this book long ago.
