The DVD was defective upon arrival. However, I did not notice this until months after purchase, when I tried to watch it. When I contacted MGH, they basically shrugged their shoulders and did not care. I will stay away from their books as much as possible in the future.So when you buy the book, open the DVD immediately and check that it works. While the book is pretty good, for echo training purposes it's almost worthless without the videos.
Very few books on TEE take such a novel integrative approach to learning TEE. No fluff and a lot of meat which lowers the learning curve for the basics of TEE. Highly recommend as probably the best book for residents I have seen...
I bought the kindle version, it was easy to download on my IPad and my droid X. Cannot access videos at all. After 2 hours on the phone with tech support, I was talled the video is not compatible with kindle.It looks like you cannot view the video unless on a pc. No mobile device.If you buying it for the videos, don't. It won't work.
