This is a good handbook for residents.The text covers a lot of grounds for students who are going to take the exam. But before you buy it, please look at the size carefully, you will find that it is smaller than your ownpalm and very thin: only a few pages. Think, how much could it really covers. It is a con. It does not worth it at this price. It should be a free distribution or something to go with some larger text book you bought.

Great book! Has all of the essential items in a concise and organized manner. Goes through all of the details of Cardiothoracic patient management from start to finish. A must for all students of Cardiothoracic surgery.
It is just a little book made for interns, not cardiothoracic surgery residents, not even general surgery residents interested in cardiothoracic surgery. It takes me more money to send it back that keeping it, else I would wanted my money back. I do not Recommend this book for residents.
