This is a nice vividly colored map. I needed an inexpensive world map for my classroom to be able to make quick reference to "where things are" in relation to where we live. I also make many references to ocean currents and temperature zones. This map is useful in allowing students to visualize the concepts. I do wish it had ocean currents highlighted in a light blue over the oceans, but the temperature map makes up for that. It also labels the Mid Atlantic Ridge which is so helpful in getting students to envision this in relation to the size of the Earth. I do wish it were twice the size, but for the price, it is a great map. Note: this map was too large to fit in the laminator at our school, so be aware that you may have to hang it as is, without the laminate protection. I would recommend this map.
this item is in fact NOT tubed like the title would lead you to believe, but rather folded, causing tears in the glossy map surface.
Arrived in fine shape, in a very useful plastic tube. Good quality print and paper. The poster is very large, so it was a bit hard to put it on the wall without help. Overall, it's a great thing to have in sight when you're resting your eyes. Gives perspective.
