Well it's a little bizarre to be writing a review for a class textbook, but I had to complain to someone.First off, I had the digital version of this book. Maybe the print copy isn't as terrible, but that's no excuse.There are TONS of grammatical errors in this book. There are sentences that seem to have been started with one ending in mind and then ended differently, leaving the sentence with unnecessary words that disrupt the flow of the sentence.This quote in particular, from chapter 3, demonstrates what I'm talking about. "Yet at the end of the day, maintaining the SfAA and AAA's code of professionally responsibility to do no harm is paramount to working with in any population." If you can make sense of the sentence, please tell me. Obviously, the message is clear enough but the way it's written is just.....awful.(In case you really don't get what's wrong with that sentence, I'm pretty sure this is how it was meant to be: 'Yet at the end of the day, maintaining the SfAA and AAA's code of professional responsibility to do no harm is paramount to working in any population'. You could argue that 'with' should have been kept instead, but I think 'in' works better.)This is the worst error I have found so far, but I'm only on chapter 5. There are many other, smaller errors that you can somewhat ignore but they are still jarring enough to break focus.If anyone actually proofread this textbook (which I highly doubt), they did a horrible job and the next edition should be edited by someone who actually pays attention to what they're editing.

Great text and had a lot of modern references to current racial and cultural issues.
Great book, of course I had to order it for my class.
