I know some children don't like doing grammar practice, because they think grammars are really boring. But I believe if they want to improve their reading and writing in the future, grammar practice is very helpful. The key here is getting an inviting and attractive grammar workbook, and keeping children doing the right practice. My son likes this grammar book a lot. This book includes essential grammar practice appropriate for fifth graders, such as nouns and pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, punctuation, sentences, word study and writing. It provides nearly 100 reproducible pages of exciting activities, 96 durable flash cards, and a motivating award certificate. The differentiated activity pages give children the practice they need at a level that is perfect to help them master basic grammar skills necessary to succeed. For more practice, we simply used the online grammar exercises on the Beestar website. Beestar exercises provide very vivid questions to show the grammar rules and let children understand them naturally without guessing. The worksheets are well-designed and have interesting real-life questions for your child to practice. If you are like me, you will be surprised that kids nowadays are pretty quick and smart in online learning.
Since my son started using Beestar online language arts program, he often asks questions about grammar problems. From Beestar, he got to know that language is not just about "sounds right", but more importantly, about grammar rules. He asks grammar questions, and requests more practice. This valuable grammar practice book came as a great help. In this book there are nearly 100 reproducible pages of exciting activities, 96 durable flash cards, and a motivating award certificate. It includes nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, sentences, word study and letters. It's aligned to common core state standards, and contains three levels of practice for each skill. The differentiated activity pages give kids the practice they need at a level that is perfect to help them master basic grammar skills necessary to succeed. I'm glad I bought this excellent book.
