Tried and true a handy book for learning and looking-up your ophthalmic terms on the job or when revising for exams. Would recommend to every new ophthalmic assistant and to us old ones as well:)
I use this book AT LEAST twice a day. It is very easy to use and to look up things I dont know or cant remember. I had been out of Ophthalmology for about 10 years so I had forgotten a lot of things. This helped me a LOT!
I work for a large Ophthalmology group and we use this as our standard for abbreviations. This book is a must for training purposes and even though I have been in the business for 29 years, I still refer to it from time to time.
My go to book at work! Im a COA(Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) and though I feel that I know my job and am very good at what I do, Im always learning. Sometimes I get a word thrown my way that Ive not yet heard before and grab my dictionary for clarification! Great book!! Worth having
I work in a busy 6 doctor ophthalmology practice and before that I had been in nursing so it was important to become well versed in terminology with the change in career. This book was very helpful and continues to be when we come across an unusual diagnosis or when I've trained new employees. I would certainly recommend it.
This book was a great asset to my new job as an OMA, I found it to be very useful in my training period, it helped me to understand different terminology that I was not use to hearing.

I bought this book and love it! I love the fact that I can carry it in my pocket book. In the field I work in its very important to make sure you spell things correctly. I been in this field for 6 years and I still run across words I not sure of. I definitely worth the money!
