A glance at the book's cover introduces the reader to Lile's journey. What I liked best about Lile's book is the voice. Her tone is never vindictive, never cruel. Her patience in dealing with a difficult situation holds her firm in her commitment to the man she loves, and to his children. The story moves well. The reader becomes engrossed in this blended family's struggles, as well as their successes.
Stepmother grabed me by the heart from the get go and held my interest till the very end, well done!
