It is a superb textbook, which is exceedingly well-written, well-illustrated, and well-organized, and most of its chapters focus on specific organ systems. The problem-oriented approach to patient care and management has always been the most logical and systematic technique for organizing and administering clinical care. "Yao and Artusio's Anesthesiology: Problem-Oriented Patient Management, Eighth Edition" is certainly one of the finest textbooks in the specialty of Anesthesiology, and I give it a five-star rating, along with my very highest recommendation.
