I like it, I use it at clinical when nothing is going on, since it fits in my pocket, and the sections are pretty close to the book, so you can read up on the chapters you are doing in class and it kinda cuts out all the extra junk you didn't need to read. I like it.

I loved this clinical companion. It really helps you find the information that youNEED for real world OB nursing. Your OB textbook will have a lot of fillerinformation that will make you feel like the text is running circles in your head.Well, if you buy this nifty book you will save yourself the headache. It has only the most important information AND its really small so you canfit it into your lab coat and whip it out during downtime or when you really need it.

Love this clinical handbook - use it more than the text when studying and for prep work, very happy I purchased it in addition to the text

I bought this so I could carry around my 'textbook' during my maternity clinical experience for nursing school Spring 2012. It is organized in a logical manner and has different sections and tables for easy access to important key information. Many of my nursing friends bought this companion too and said they also used it to streamline their studying the night or morning before our maternity exams and that it helped a lot. It is a great way to have condensed, key information from the maternity textbook, in a format that is easy to carry to clinical and class, since the textbook is very large and heavy :)

I kept it to have for reference in clinical and saved my butt at least once. It is SO much more concise than the textbook, so also great for a last minute cram session before a test. Keeps the most important info close and concise.

Once you are familiar with how this reference book is set up and can find things quickly it is a great small sized book to take along on clinicals. Good to buy even when not a mandatory text.

Great helper to carry with you to clinicalCommon complications present with signs and symptomsGreat partner of the textbook

Great book, lots of pertinent information for the NCC Materneral newborn exam! Used this with the CCPR workbook to study for my exam.
