Unfortunately, there was no information in this book that I couldn't get from reading reviews o n 's website. What a disappointment.
This information was helpful, but did not answer all of my questions. I wanted to know if you can limit which apps your children can download and if you can pay for FreeTime with an gift card.
This was really a big post not a book. It gives pros and cons but few practical tips for how to use the service.
I can sum up Freetime simply for you, if YOU, the parent, have oodles of free time then this is a wonderful service. If YOU, the parent, happen to have a life and don't have the time to spend wading through tons of data to find the new data that you may or may not want your child to have access to then Freetime isn't a good idea.
Not very informative. No details about how to actually work any of the apps etc. I know very little and this still didn't help me!
We recently purchased a Kindle fire for our oldest son. We purchased a Kindle Fire HDX to avoid storage issues and installed unlimited FreeTime and the FreeTime app to restrict usage. It seems to be working well.
