This is a great study guide! My theory instructor actually uses questions from it on her exams and even the study guides she gives to the class, we're able to check our study guide answers in this book.
This is a great helpful resource for Med/Surg tests! It correlates well with the Textbook and allows for extra practice questions and learning. I have been using this study guide and I like it mostly because of the rationales that it gives with the answers in the back. IT doesn’t just tell you what the right answer is, it tells you why that is the right answer and why the other are wrong. I only gave this 4 out 5 stars because although it is a helpful resource, at least for my program, I wouldn’t really consider it a study guide. It is extra practice, but in the end it did not help me determine what to study or what to spend extra time on while studying! I was hoping for a little more guidance from a study guide, but overall, it was a great purchase!
This study guide is a companion to a required textbook for my RN program. Although, this study guide was not required I thought it might prove helpful. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I didn't find it very useful or helpful. There are other resources I used that were much better. Different things work for different people - this one just wasn't for me.
This study guide really recaps the chapters in the book and helps me to focus on the most important take-aways from each chapter. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that needs the big book!
Must have for making it through with my course. It has helped me know where to focus for studying and is a great way to know what I need to re-read before a test.
It worked, I was hoping it would have been a bit more based on Critical Thinking and NCLEX type questions. Still good though.
I have only skimmed through it because I just received it but it's looks great so far! Definitely feel like it will be a strong help! I'll right another review once I start using it because I'm sure it's going to be a 5 star!
Great tool to supplement the book when learning the material. I began using this study guide and saw a significant increase in test scores. This guide provides great summaries and rationale.
