This is NOT an "annotated" edition as advertised and merely contains the text of the novel plus a short biography of Austen.
Annotated is best. It enriches the story and brings out more humor than just reading the novel without guidance. Also consider the book 'Bitch in a Bonnet' It's a terrific guide to the social faux pas in the story and the sensibilities of the time.
