I have the 8th edition of this book and what really surpise me is that , it doesnt have the answer to the questions. You can only view it on the point..to impossible. If youre a nursing student with a limited budget.. Stay away from this book.
This WORKBOOK does not even have answers to its questions. If this textbook and the accompanying workbook are forced upon you, buy the 9th Edition, NOT the 10th... for some reason the publishers decided it would be a fabulous idea to OMIT the ANSWERS to a WORKBOOK, used for studying. Great call, people. Clearly, you did not have the actual users of the book in mind when making that choice.DON'T buy the 10th or later edition, if you have to buy it at all. Complete waste of money.
If the text weren't being recalled this would workbook might have received five stars! it makes you work for the answers which in turn makes you learn better but this is null and void when the answers are wrong in the accompanying text!
No answers in the back of the book. Waste of money. What good is this workbook if we cannot get feedback? I mean you could think you have he answer but will never know what "their" answer is. Another example of the syndrome of academia to push unnecessary expenses on struggling students. What a stupid book. UPDATE: Look at the first exercise called activity "A" on page 120. You have to unlearn definitions in order to correctly answer what they mean by: critical thinking, trial and error and the scientific method. Their definitions in accompanying HUGE textbook are so nuanced that you must learn what "they" mean by critical thinking, trial and error and the scientific method. What a waste of time trying to learn the hyper-specific meaning of these terms which will be tossed aside in a real working environment.
When you have to answer the question in this book the only provide you with two lines, that's not enough to write an answer, there's no answer key to the book so if you want to make sure your answer is right you will never know, don't cover the whole entire chapter but kinda help you understand the concept of the chapter.
I enjoyed this book the questions mostly showed up on the test. I didn't like that it didn't include the answers in the workbook so I didn't know if my answers were right or wrong.
Very helpful and specific. The only downfall is that the 10th edition doesn't have the answers on the back so I can check my work
A text book is a text book. What more can be said? Items arrived before the expected date of delivery; this is certainly a plus.
