I just took and passed the RHIT, and this book definitely helped. Only one caveat - the coding questions in this book are for ICD-10. As the implementation has been delayed again, you would likely be served just as well with the 4th edition of this book, which has a silver cover.

I received this book through my college course. I have read it twice and I have to say DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK! Very little of what is in this book is in the test. Maybe 5 %. I Failed my test.Look for a different book.DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!
