Somewhat follows the textbook at least at the University of Alaska Anchorage Nursing program. Towards the end of the quarter I had to figure out which chapters I needed to do in the workbook and was able to figure out which ones to do by looking at the vocab.How I used the workbook is I did the multiple choice first, then worked my way back... Finally during the vocab at the beginning of the chapter in the workbook I would read the corresponding sentences FIRST then found the matching words. I attended almost every class (only missed 1 day), read over the PowerPoint and objectives from the professor and came out of the class with an 89% & a test average of 88%.
It's a good workbook; I used it throughout my first semester of nursing school. It helped me focus on the main topics of each chapter. HOWEVER, there are SOME MISTAKES in the answer key and a few of the questions I encountered in the workbook didn't match what the answer had for an answer. So if you get the workbook and use it then you actually have to go through and double check with the Fundamentals book to make sure that the answer is right.
Although my class hardly use the study guide, it was a great help with my individual studies.
None of my test question were similar to this workbook. Did not really help with studying.
