Greek mythology was my favorite subject in high school. They are interesting, mystical and captivating, no wonder it is still a favorite topic of certain popular book today. I saw this book while browsing, and bought it just to refresh myself with greek mythology.It was a very nice read. A summarization of popular stories of each gods, goddesses, heroes and of course who could forget about the Titans. I particularly love the glossary part though. I remember needing this kind of glossary when exam is coming.Nice short reads, I was actually feeling nostalgic about it. I recommend this book for students who is also taking up Greek Mythology as one of their special subject. This book also contains loads of free books inside, which is a great bonus.
Fact or fiction, if it's about Greek mythology, you got all my senses activated! The complex stories of gods and goddesses, heroes andvillains and on how they interconnect with each other had made me crave to hear more about them. I liked being thrilled with the adventures, those magical realms and the never ending battle for power, rivalry and pride which were gracefully constituted by most characters. Some books about Greek mythology seeminglyappear to be sterotypes with the previous editions but this is one of a kind.What satisfied me most about this book, was the fact that it provided an alphabetical compilation of all the characters wherein their most interesting details were highlighted.

I had a great time reading this book for I got inspired on how this Greek Myths rule and their characteristics. I got lots of new knowledge after reading this book.
As someone who loves reading books about greek mythology I tend to read any book about the subject I see. Some of these stories I have never heard before but they were interesting. They were great stories and I'd probably have my 11 year old read it since he also likes greek mythology
Gotta admit, I laughed when I saw the "Zeus and the bees" part. Don't think I've seen anything like it. Is this stuff really part of Greek mythology or some clever spins? I may never know but I was pretty entertained and the story flow was good. The glossary part kinda killed it for me after I realized there was nothing else to read. Could have been twice as long. What a tease! There's gotta be more!
I have always been a fan of greek mythology. I can still remember all the plays that we played during high school. This book is such a reminder of my high school days. Reading this is such a great experience, from the greek gods, to history and everything. Greece is such an amazing place and their beliefs and history are such an admiration. This book is well written and I am still mesmerized. I have read it twice, and still enjoyed it. Hope you as well enjoy it too.
Greek mythology has been one of my interest ever since high school. This books is well written and very informative. The author provided us a complete details about their Gods and Goddesses. If you have a heart for Greek mythology then I must say, you should never miss this book!
Hoping to find a decent primer on Greek Mythology, I gave this a shot. What a pathetic excuse for a book. Reviews calling this "complete"? Give me a break! This seems like something you'd find at Scholastic targeted at early primary grades. I wish I could have rated it 0 stars. Unless you are a third-grader, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
