Finding Anna is Trish Kaye Lleone's story of not only child sexual abuse, but child abuse as well. Without giving too much of the storyplot, Anna is the mother of the story who leaves her daughter so she can focus on her life while her daughter ends up on the path of self-destruction. Of course, being sexually abuse was added to the equation.This was a short, but very compelling story of what can happen when a child is left abandoned. And I applaud Trish Kaye Lleone for sounding the alarm for those who are afraid to speak about their abuse (which I am also an abuse survivor). Great read!
Not for the faint of heart is right! Trish Kaye Lleone faces her childhood sexual abuse straight on in this memoir. Time will tell if she will ever find Anna, but she has found a lot of healing, and she is an inspiration to other survivors!
I read this story and times I felt so horrible for this little girl, and what she endured. I'm happy that she is moving on and taking care of herself. plus her relationship with her father was so much better and Sarah her mother's sister too finding her was great.
I'm not a big reader and this one kept me going from start to finish. Opened my eyes to the horrors of sexual abuse. A must read in my opinion.
Heartfelt and a voice for victims everywhere. Author writes with passion and from the heart. A difficult journey but one good read.
Finding Anna wants us to make a stand in this cruel society. Take action or get out of the way!
