This is a must read book not only for grandparents and other kin raising grandchildren, but for families of any kind. This is a book about families in turmoil and flux, their stories, their failings and triumphs...things that all families can relate to. It is told in story form, in the words of the families going through crisis, and narrated by the author. It is an eye opening, emotional journey that stays with you.
Excellent book. For a time when grandparents and other kin are raising their kin, this is a great book to read. Finding out your not alone and tips to understand what you are going through is key to making this journey work.
