Highly recommended for ALL Grandparents to give to their Grand-Daughters. I bought this book for my Three Daughter's on behalf of their Grandmother, who when they were little used to give them books for their birthdays and Christmas versus giving them toys. She in turn inscribed a little something for each one of them by making it personal, to remember her, followed by a scripture from the bible. During Christmas, when the girls opened these gifts, and read what she had written just for them, they began to read the pages out load for all of us to hear. It was emotional and very heartfelt.
I bought one of these for my granddaughter. My 7 year old great-granddaughter found it and wanted one for herself. I told her that whenever she is having a problem and is feeling sad, she can read the book and remember how special she is. She took this to heart and loves reading the book.
The words in this book are so meaningful.... it will touch your heart every time you read it to your granddaughter. I just purchased it for my first granddaughter who is 10 months old. I will continue to read her this book, I hope that when she is old enough to read it on her own, it will always hold a special place in her heart.
It is a beautiful book. I randomly pick a page and read it to my 6 and 8 year old granddaughters.
