I am so thankful for the bloodline of family that Rodney was born into and raised by his loving role model, his Grandmother. The faith and confidence that she instilled into Rodney as she let God guide her is an example of how I can be a wonderful and blessed woman. Rodney is blessed with many gifts and he uses them for the glory of God. When he wrote about the celebration of his Grandmother's life after finding out he suffered a great loss was so well written that you felt his emotions along with him. Thank you for sharing your failures along with your successes. I truly appreciate you singing the hymns and your gift with playing the piano. I pray God's blessings on your life, Rodney, as you continue this journey.
Rodney did a great job sharing with us the depth of the love between he and his grandmother. He also allows us to think deeply about situations in our own lives that mirrored some of his experiences. I love how he intermingled the hymns that we grew up, along with poems that made me stop, reflect and think about the future. Excellent read. 5+ stars for Mr. Rodney Dean Boyden
