This is the first book in the series I read, and I must say I loved the character of Travis. He's the perfect hero and leader. The descriptions of the desert were fascinating, as well as the details of how they manage to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. The plot was intriguing with quite a few surprises along the line. A great read that conjures up some amazing movie-like battle scenes.

I enjoyed all 3 parts to this story. I really liked the hero, Travis, who was a very complex man. The settings of these tallies took place in the West, and I really looked the Sedona area which is one of my favorite places. I spent some good hours enjoying these stories.

Pretty darned good. This one starts with Travis thinking back to when he and Talia were tasked with checking the security of a Pallas building. Its something they have done may times for other folks.Travis and Talia get in no problem and then have to go through the building testing the security and then get out without anyone being the wiser. What he finds in that building is part and parcel of whats going on right now. RAMS.Logan finally catchs up with Travis. A Travis who's more than surprised to see him and his men.Travis isn't happy that Logan used him with Pearson. He's also not happy that Logan wants him to help with Pallas. All Travis wants to do is head for Denver and look for his ex wife and son.Logan convinces Travis to help and they all head for Durango and Pearson's coordinates. So begins one damned fine read. This one has Travis, Logan, Talia, Dr. Gummerman, Katy, Becka, Nora, Rachel, a cure, a battle with Nikki and her Pallas cohorts, a Navajo named Benito, a man named Karl, one of Nikki's men imbedded with Travis and his group, Rob, Peter, Travis's finally making it to Denver, his son, his son's dog and one kick ass ending to a great series.Five Stars.

Travis, Katey, Logan and Todd are my new hero's. I've got a feeling that we will see them again in action. There were more flip and flops in this latest book than you can keep up with. Well worth reading. You will learn things you need to know and enjoy the action and storyline at the same time. So - read, learn, enjoy and save a little food.

I have read all 4 of JT Sawyers Kindle editions. Again, the book does not disapoint. Great story line and character development. This volume ended way too soon. But it is still a great read. I look forward to volume 4 and ANY new series he may put out.a top notch writer in this genre'.

I have really enjoyed this series of survival after a Zombie event. But the series is more than that. It has a good story and kept me interested in the players. It's not just kill Zombies. It's adventure, family, and a love story. And survival.

Heinlein, Parker, McDonald, are about 18 0r 19 on my scale of 1 to 10. JT is pretty good. I'd say about 8. I think his dialogue needs some work. And, maybe some practice on his fight scenes. Otherwise, I think, as a beginner, he's better than a lot of his competitors.

Some of the scenes weren't as descriptive or interesting as I though he could've made them. But overall I'd say it was a Damon good book and I hope this isn't theEnd of the road for Travis and the rest
