Muy dificil de leer en formato Kindle, dado el tamaño de las letras, Si se agrandar la imagen, se hace muy dificil el moverse por la pagina. El contenido es MUY bueno, pero la recomiendo leer papel.
Leer este libro fue como volver a mi niñez pero con un mejor entendimiento del humor genial de Quino. Me gustó que hay muchas páginas grandes y que el libro esta dividido en secciones por personaje. Siento que lo leí muy rápido y quedé con deseos de más Mafalda.
... it is about the file (digital book). Even at six dollars, I wish I could have my money back, because you cannot ROTATE nor ZOOM !! (Please, double-tapping each frame? No-can-do). Really disappointing... And I was about to buy all the collection in digital, because it looks really nice, very clean and bright (I do not know about the others 1 star reviews... it looks neat in my Kindle!). (Now, " IF ONLY..." in a Mafalda way!) Let me know when this is corrected PLEASE!) PD: why the kilobytes numbers are different from the website VS the number in the Kindle itself?) I bought it directly from the Kindle (lower number)!) Am I missing the ROTATE / ZOOM codes?
It is a very good book but the kindle edition es awful. It is very hard to read and to follow the comics
I bought this for my mother who is learning Spanish while we grew up reading Mafalda (translated). The book is thicker than I expected (in a positive way), but my only disappointment was that inside everything was in black and white. I was expecting it to be in colors like the Mafalda I grew up reading.
I lived in Argentina many, many years ago when I was young. Mafalda was sort of the "Peanuts" of Argentina, with the protagonist being a very progressive, idealistic little girl. Each of the characters has a very definite personality (one is haughty, another shy, another a capitalist, etc). This is a very Argentine book, with very idiomatic Argentine (Buenos Aires, in particular) vocabulary and pronunciation. I loved this series as a child (I have all the books), and bought this book (a treasury of sorts) for an older (78) Argentine person for Christmas. He has lived away from Argentina since his teens. He was FLOORED by this book--completely stunned, and taken very much by surprise. He absolutely loved it. Took some doing to find; had to get it from a used bookseller. One of the best gifts I have ever gotten anyone. Si sos Portenio, necesita ese libro.
I love author Quino: his ingenuity , creativity, critical social and political thought , his keen ability to adapt the above to his children's characters through the observation and behavioral psychology and children's thinking, especially Mafalda. And most surprising is that he presents all of the above, using his special sense of humor. As a reader the author makes me think, reflect and enjoy laughter, "infallible remedy " to relax.
It was a gift from me to my self, and I loved every page. I love Quino and Mafalda, eventhough my favorite character is Susanita. I think this book is GREAT and is just perfect size and content.
