The radcases series in general is solid, and this is one of the better from the series. These are quick reads that have good images and a very detailed findings section. For each cases there are three differentials, an essential facts section, and a "pearls and pitfalls" section. This is a nice quick review. I cannot comment on the online component as I have not yet activated it yet.
This is a great series. I found these books easier to read and work with than case reviews. Worth the price with many online cases to review as well. If you are looking for a lot of detail this is not the book for you. A quick differential with highlights of disease and quality images is what you are buying. I would recommend it.
I can highly recommend this case review book, the pictures are excellent quality, there is a great 'zoom' capability when viewing on the iPad and the pearls and pitfalls are invaluable. Well set out, easy to read, and pitched at an appropriate level for a radiology registrar.
I really like this format with image legends and annotations, differentials, and concise discussions. The online modules are easy to use and navigate through. The images are great and the discussions are high yield. The only downside is limited access (1 year) to the online cases unless you renew your subscription. For board preparation, I highly recommend it.
I love this book, it has all the basic information needed to prepare for the oral boards is neuro. The short accurate differential diagnosis and bullets are really helpful.
