Highly recommended for intermediate to advanced learners. Once I started reading the script from this program it was very difficult to put it down. One of the main reasons people fail at learning a new language is because they don't stick with it. Quite frankly the majority of the programs out there are boring. Even as an adult it's hard to be consistent with something we find BORING... be it exercise, reading or learning a language. THE AUDIO program is amazing. Real people speaking naturally. The AUDIO is a MUST HAVE because you're not only reading the scripts but you're listening to professional actors with sound effects to give you a REAL experience. Simply put..I've been studying the Spanish language for many years and I've done my research. GRITTY SPANISH is the way to go to improve your comprehension and get you understanding REAL SPANISH..the way it is REALLY spoken in REAL LIFE.
An interesting idea, but this book is full of grammatical any typographical errors. This is not just slang, it's full of errors/ The punctuation is badly messed up, and even the wrong verb endings are applied (formal verbs wuthe the pronoun "tú", and vice versa, for example).
