I bought this because my children and I are taking beginner ASL courses. This book caught my eye because I thought it would bring some fun to the learning process. The book is thinner than I expected, but still engaging, nonetheless. The only qualm that I have is that they print is a bit on the smaller side. It makes it harder to distinguish which letters are being signed without having to use the key provided in the front of the book. All in all, I am pleased with this book and my kids really are enjoying the games while learning at the same time.
A fun book for puzzlers and those practicing ASL fingerspelling. The idea of showing the signs from the view of how you would see them is brilliant! It is hard to tell if I am doing them right looking at the back of my hand! The puzzles are laid out with many words, and will keep you very busy. Once I got used to the view of the signs (during 1st puzzle) I found myself working through them as if I was looking at letters. There is a letter chart and solution page to help and an address to get free poster charts. What a deal!
I received this book last Friday (9/11/15), and it is awesome! The book is clear, easy to read, and I appreciate the time and effort put into making this a great word search puzzle book!
