A very comprehensive book that covers a lot of other people and their works along with the famous ones. I think it is the best book I bought this year.
Excellent but very dense introduction. Not recommended for absolute beginner, but ultimately quite rewarding for anyone with some previous background who is looking for a thorough overview.
