I personally have found this edition an AWESOME upgrade from the previous edition and encourage people to use it. The read is easier, the organization is better and its simply better put together.

Nagelhout appears to cite every article on every topic, and thus makes what could be a great reference virtually unreadable. Nurse anesthesia needs a great text, but unfortunately, this is not it.

This book contains many errors, conflicting information, and plenty of anecdote and omissions. Other texts are much better references on the subject. How can this be on the 4th edition and still be so bad??

I am a senior nurse anesthesia student that is being forced to read Nurse Anesthesia. There are errors on almost every other page! I can not believe that this is a fourth addition! My advice would be to stick with "real" anesthesia text like Miller or Barash.

bought this textbook for anesthesia school and wanted all of my texts for kindle/ipad for convenience. reading assignments are based on page numbers and ebook has a location but no page numbers. defeats the convenience factor if i have to look up the page numbers in a paper book before I can read a small assignment. looked online for a converter for location to page number, none found. ended up buying a paper textbook. did not notice problem till too late to return kindle version. I know it is a small problem but would think the publishers would know that page numbers are very important in a textbook.

I am in my first semester of CRNA school, so I have only read a few chapters so far, but this book has been very helpful in my chemistry and physics class.

I Already have it, but kinddle edition it's a better way to study. I can use any electronic device. anywhere ,anytime..great...
