Nicely written and edited. A considerable upgrade in the book's index, which in previous editions was 'sparse' making it difficult to quickly locate needed information. The 5th edition has corrected this shortcoming. Many graphs, tables, and illustrations, making the understanding of the topic being presented much easier. Material is up-to-date and organized effectively.

As a new SRNA, we have John's book, little miller, barash, m and m. So far I live this book for its direct and clear message on each topic. It is not nearly as wordy as some of the others. The other books listed above try to write in a language that is very flashy instead of delivering the information in a way that you can retain. I have about read this book cover to cover and it is impressive. It is a must have for new SRNA students!

There are sooooo many other great anesthesia books and then there is this. It may be an improvement over the previous edition BUT this book is poorly edited, organized and in some cases just incorrect. Our class is making a list of all of the mistakes to send to the authors. This is a poor resource for students. Seriously, why even put your name on this if it isnt a worthwhile resource. Save your money and your time.

I love the 4th edition but updates/corrections have been made in this new version. I love this new book! It makes learning very easy with all of the charts and tables included and is easy to read and understand. In my opinion an essential read for all of those studying Nurse Anesthesia:)

Using the electronic version of the book allows me to use VoiceOver and listen while I read, it helps me keep a pace while studying.Another feature that I think will help when used more is the recommended highlights shown. Great idea!

the book os Absolutely Amazing! i own other anesthesia books but tjis particular one is my favorite. easy to read, to understand, and to apply info. breaks info nicely. i would highly recommend this book.

Used this book to prepare for my interview along with ICU book and pass CCRN book. This Anesthesia book does not simplify material, and does not have many diagrams/pictures to explain material and if it does, they are black and white. This book is used by my Anesthesia program, that is why I bought it to begin with.

Very good product I used to my classes I recomend you this book to every body can use it ,
