The book was in the exact condition as described by the seller, and it was sent promptly and packaged well for shipping. It is a great book for background information on authors and illustrators, and a very good resource for parents, teachers, and anyone who is interested in children's books. Very readable, and the information on each each author and illustrator covers two pages. I have shared this one and volume I with two college teachers who are going to order it for their professional library colection to use with staff and students.
