This is a very friendly looking & friendly reading book. It provides easy to comprehend, basic information about a variety of fundamentals in the operating room. There is no information about surgical instruments. That's OK, as other reference books are available for that. It provides concise chapters on assessment of the surgical patient, anesthesia, sterility, post anesthesia care, etc.
Great summary for those studying perioperative nursing. Simplified difficult text and focused in on the must know stuff. Graduated top of my class
Full of pictures and easy to read, this was a great book to buy before I started in the OR. It helped me prepare for that long orientation time. I will keep it at the OR for other new OR nurses like myself. I highly recommend this book to any one considering an OR position!
This is my first book in the Incredibly Visual Range and so far very good, I have browsed through it and the necessary facts ae all there with great accompanying pics, this will be an excellent reference book, good price too and fast delivery
