A book that explains and shows the skills and competencies in the nursing field today. The author goes even more deep than in "From novice to expert". A book that is essencial to all nurses: practice, faculty, research and students.
This book has great tips for nurse leaders and preceptors. I would highly recommend this book for all preceptors to understand where their orientees are on the continuum of learning.
I purchased this book for a class at college. The newer editions are more expensive, of course. I would have purchased an older edition and saved some money. The content is all the same, just organized a little differently.
This book has helped me so much! It was a required reading for class but it truly outlines what nursing should be as well as ways to grow in nursing expertise! Thanks Benner et al.!
