While it was the best road map we had of AK. I wish it would have had more details like the mountain names and river names. Maybe having the state split into four parts instead of trying to put it all on one sheet.
The map is easy to read, but not as detailed as we would have wanted. It really doesn't show more than major highways.
Come on!This is suppose to be a road map? I felt like I needed my crayons with this so-called 'map'.No detail whatsoever.Go to AAA and get a real map.......pathetic.
Useful when planning a trip to the 49th state. It's huge and there are few roads. Easy to read. Street maps of the most visited towns. Maps of Denali National Park, Kenai Fjords National Park and the Inside Passage.
All the roads and general info is ok, but theres no info about camping an other stuff, I found one made in Germany with much more road info
This publication is better than most that you find in local stores or on the road.There is more detail and larger maps of specific areas. This is a very helpful tool inplanning road trips in Alaska. One thing it needs is more blow-up maps of smaller citiesthan Anchorage and Fairbanks. But it is well worth the money and a valuable companion to a GPS device.
We used this map during our travels up the Alcan highway and throughout Alaska. We found it useful and big enough to have good details.
Clear, concise, shows what I needed to get around Alaska last year. Large enough to be able to read and understand.
