Dr. Wishaw gives the reader an interesting view into aeromedicine through his work in Australia. While this book includes many adventures utilizing helicopters, its focus is more on the medical side and less on the aviation aspects. A reader looking for a pilot's view will be disappointed. A reader looking for medical situations where helicopters and airplanes are used as valuable tools to save lives will be delighted. I do recommend it for flight crews as Dr. Wishaw's experiences are easy to learn from.
This is a story, that in so many ways, is of 'a life that is being well lived'. The sacrifices that Ken Wishaw and his family have made contributed in such a large way to our communties and are very much appreciated. This is a well written and compelling story. Enjoy!
