Some practical tips though,especially for livestock and exotics-- and a good discussion of the issues around ensuring a kind and compassionate life end for our various animals. Useful addition to the veterinary literature.Given there is an emerging (and somewhat inexplicable) movement that runs counter to compassionate active euthanasia, advocating, instead for "natural" death--perhaps a new edition will venture further into exploring that controversy.
This is a well-written guide to euthanasia techniques. A very helpful resource for all veterinarians. Included info on large, small and exotic euthanasia.
This book was very helpful in some areas. It is a great reference book for the mobile vet who does home euthanasias.
