this is not the best study guide. it has a bunch of fill in the blank questions. i've used it once since i bought it (i should've rented instead). i just use the online elsevier website to answer NCLEX questions for each chapter.
Old school worksheets which is nice for Xeroxing and taking test more than once. Lots of fill in the blank so you have to know the answer not just guess at one of the choices. Helps you focus on what the chapter is trying to teach.
The majority of the questions are too simple. If you're in nursing school, you know professors ask challenging questions, so for tests, this study guide was pretty useless. If you want to memorize terms, it helps with that.
This book had some excellent questions to reinforce what we were going over in pediatrics class. It is an optional book in our RN program but, a must have in my opinion.
Received study guide promptly but did not know the entire book was written in. Literally every page has been written on and it's too much work to erase.
Matched what was needed to succeed on the exam and give a good brief overview of the chapter.
If only I had the willpower to use it more.
