This is by far the most well organized and thoughtfully explained medical Spanish textbook that I have found over the years. The grammar concepts are straightforward and simply expressed. The cultural information is spot on! I highly recommend it to anyone in the medical profession!

Being in the medical field, I highly recommend this book for all healthcare providers who have a Spanish speaking population. The medical terminology and the cultural nuances are just great!
I wanted something that would teach me some medical terminology in Spanish. The book only touches the bare bones of what I might use as a Physician Assistant in an office setting during a patient visit. Not quite what I was looking for.
I thought there would be more Medical phrases. Lots of info I won't be using. It did NOT come with flash cards as marketed. I needed this book for a medical spanish class at texas tech. This is a great book for beginners and has tons of vocab for people who may want to increase their spanish vocabulary!!
I have not used it much. It looks very much like the first edition. My disappoint is that I expected an audio disc (cd) and there was none, just a link up to a site. Even that was tedious to access. The first edition had audio helps, so that is why I expected same. I guess I didn't read the description carefully. Next time I will ask more questions.
