So I was not excited to take research during my senior year of my BSN program. This book is an easy read, and a great resource for interpreting and writing research articles. The topics covered in this book go beyond nursing and can help you to approach research in a more critical and scholarly way. I am so glad that I took the course.
I rented this for a class to complete my BSN. I have been a RN for 20 years and consider myself average to above average intelligence among my peers. I found this book very difficult to understand. I used the internet to google terms for better understanding. That being said, for a rental, I think I received a brand new book. It was in perfect condition.
I rented this book and just wanted to let you know that when I received it that it has extensive water damage to all of the pages. It looks as though a soft drink of something was spilled all in it. Just wanted to make you aware so I am not charged for damage when I return it.
I love this book and will be using it for lots of projects ahead and for 62 cents a steal and in excellent condition. I will be using it to finish my bachelor and use it in my master degrees program and probably after that,Great and well written, technical nurse training stuff.
Houser's text met the requirements of my Doctor of Nursing Utilizing Course. Actually, this book is less boring than most--I have not fallen asleep with this one! Houser makes the concepts interesting and provides good examples in an easy-to-read format. Yes, most of the words are more than 10 letters long, but overall, I go to her book for reference purposes first.
Excellent book, reads like a story book, well almost.Research written easy to understand for a novice.
I needed this book for my online RN-to-BSN program class. The book was easy to read since I was already familiar with some of the terminology from my previous Statistics class. It was quite interesting to learn about different types and classifications of research studies.
