My four year old grandson gave me Grand-o-grams for Easter. It is a color collection of preferated postcards to send to your grandchild or grandchildren for any occassion and special holidays. The cards are beautiful and fun. They are a great treasure to send your special grand if you live close or far away. The artistry is outstanding an un-matched by any card I have seen anywhere. The companion book "The Gifts of being Grand" for grandparents is a colorful and special expression of love for any grandchild.
This is a great gift book to give, and even better if you give it with the companion book The Gift of Being Grand. My sister bought this for my mom. I was drawn to it immediately because of the beautiful illustrations, then as you read the words inside The Gift of Being Grand you are touched by it's sweetness. I ordered both books as a gift for my mother-in-law. I now realize that I want to order another set for a mentor/friend who is also a special Grandma. The Grand-o-Grams make it easy for a busy, but loving/caring Grandparent to drop a quick note to their special someone. My kids love to get mail and I know that they will treasure these notes coming from their Grammie and Gramma. Thank you to the author for a delightful combination of sweet art, thoughtfulness and gift that keeps on giving.
Grand-O-Grams provides a beautiful way to keep in touch with grandkids - my daughter gave it to me for Easter and I love it! The book contains perforated postcards that are beautifully illustrated. There are cards for specific holidays and occasions, as well as, just for fun. Designed by Marianne Richmond, this is a unique and beautiful gift for grandparents. There is also a book called "The Gifts of Being Grand" that celebrates the gifts of being a grandparent. Again, a beautifully illustrated and thoughtful book. Either/both would be great gifts for mother's day, birthday, etc.
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my mom, the grandmother of my two children. I was pleased with it when it came in the mail, but it was even more fun to watch my mom and son talk about the book after she opened it on Christmas morning. My son loves both sending and receiving mail so when a Grandma gram comes in the mail, he gets so excited. He is always looking forward to when he can send a note to grandma and it really does foster the close relationship my kids have with their grandma. It's especially great since we live halfway across the United States from each other. I love the bond they have and this is one way to encourage communication with my toddler and his grandma.
I have been looking for postcards to send to my grandchildren for years and these are just perfect. I have 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. There are 40 cards in this "book." The cards are in a book for safe storage and all you have to do is press them out when ready to use. A lot of room for the address on back and for your message. A good mixture for both girls and boys and there is a card that says from Grandma and from Grandpa. Seasonal cards are limted to about 2 or 3 and include Valentines, Easter, Out for the Summer, 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas. I am going to buy another book so I have enough.
Love these to send to my Grands. I don;t see them enough. Children like getting mail and these illustrations are darling. There are cards for holidays and "just because". I'll have to print so they can read them. No more cursive.
This is a book of postcards for special and everyday occasions. I love sending them to my grandchildren when school starts, holidays, at the end of school, and mostly when I just miss them. The kids really love getting them, too. They very seldom get mail so they are always very excited to receive their very own mail from Grandma (and there are several from Granddad, too.) Such a wonderful idea!
So adorable. Beyond what I imagined. I have been looking for a way to stay in touch with my grandchildren. This is certainly one super way. The postcards are beautifully designed with sweet messages on them and plenty of room to write my own message. I wish they had a series. I would buy every one. If you are a grandparent- you've got to get this!
