I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He's a real pursuer of quotable quotes. He started reading it directly after he opened it and spent most of the rest of the day with it. He LOVES it -- says it is Fabulous!! Guess maybe I need to read it, too!
I bought this hoping it would have some really neat quotes, but I only found one section even mildly useful, and that was the section on things people frequently misquote. Don't bother buying this, just go to a site with quotes on it and read those.
Sorry I bought it!I read quotes often for sense of placement and perspective. Nothing here! I tired of reading the authors perspective, before I got to the quotes.The book isn't even heavy enough to flatten leaves.Buying it as a gift? DON'T! Of course they are going to tell you it was great. Sitting all day with book open? Check their pulse, or see if they have another periodical wedged in.Attractive book that is easy to travel with. Can fit in back pocket.
