Mary Engelbreit is a favorite of mine: her artistry,her calendars with timely and appropriate quotes from many sources, and most recently her children's picture books and Mother Goose. Having this little book just with her illustrations and quotes is an often-pick-up-book!
Couldn`t be a nicer book,chuck -full of illustrations,quotes,and small vignettes!...makes me feel even closer to Mary as we are the same age and grew up in the same town...worth much more than the money...
I love ALL of my Mary Engelbreit books and this one is no exception. I can read it over and over and still enjoy it every time. Her charming art work is perfectly matched with familiar quotes that I have heard all my life. I love her artwork, quotes, books, calendars, everything. Her commercial success is inspiring. It is wonderful to see and support a successful woman artist who is 'doing her own thing'. I bought this to give a fan of Mary Engelbreit for part of her baby shower gift but I can't part with it myself and decided to keep it! This book is amazing, not only the graphics, and the quotes but the wonderful stories from the artist that go with them. I will be reading her pages over and over again, and this is now one of my favorite books ever. The graphics of course are amazing, the quotes beautiful! Out of all the ME books, this has become my favorite. Mary is a wonderful artist and her books are heart warming for children, men and women alike. I added it to my collection of Mary Engelbreit books.
