I love all her books. I was surprised to read about the Prince fans but she managed to get that story in and get this available just 5 days after he died. I'm happy she writes these so fast so I can keep reading them!
Great stories! I'm so much more sympathetic to hospital workers now...Per the author's request, I have to point out a typo. In the chapter about the mom with the awful children, she says she doesn't sensor her children. Should read "censor"
Kerry, I just can't get enough of your chronicles of the ER and some of the things most of us never see. (I've read and loved every one so far.) I was so excited to see this new one, Ew,ew,ew. I had just read the last installment and figured it would be a while before the next one so the applesauce part amazed and tricked me! Yes, there's a few typos, I'm usually a stickler for them, but I was enjoying the stories and chose to overlook them rather than complain. Please don't stop sharing your stories! You are compassionate yet blunt and"real" in telling them making them more tangible. Can't wait for more!
I've read all her books and once again she delighted me with her tales of hospital work!! I'm an RN with 21 years experience in a 25 bed rural hospital....even here in "Timbuktu" I know these things can happen! You just hold your breath and smile all the while wondering why you went to nursing school. You did it to help others while they suffer from these strange ailments.
This is one of Ms. Hamms' better books, and I have read them all. She has a special place in her heart for all of the people who come through her ER. Eventually we all will most likely be there one time or another. My hope would be that my case would not be worthy of a segment in her book .
Kerry Hamm never fails to deliver. Looking forward to the next volume of stories too fierce to be false....from the ER. I'm pretty sure the more entertaining patients in her stories stopped at my bank on their way to the ER or on the journey home.....
I have read every book so far and have enjoyed reading every one of them.I can't wait for the next one I hope that it is soon.these books are all so entertaining.I hope that you have a new one coming out soon
Being in the medical field myself, I can relate to the craziness, heartbreak and frustration of working with various types of people from all walks of life! This book is an easy read which leads to a relaxing read:-)
