Buy this book not only because of a recommendation from your course and/or teacher, but your need for a reference book on the subject. God speed. This book is a subject matter expert, in my opinion. It contains visual diagrams of human anatomy, photos people in accidents, and study photos of first responders providing the steps and skills needed for first aid, cpr and aed. What more do you need? It has very good balance between written text and diagrams. This book also has taken enourmous to provide the STEPS in prioritizing first aid, cpr and aed. Flow charts asking What IF questions, and paths to follow for various senarios. Nothing is ever straight forward, and this book prepares you to think that way. Wow, humm? The quizes at end of each reading provides as a strong learning tool for students. So, you cannot take this book lightly. The authors have made it a crusade in providing such information. Readers are to benefit from the knowledge, and victims you save, well ... God Willing, you will see the light!!! The use of color coded descriptive text also adds to the ease of learning. All of which are needed, because its contents are handled with utmost superior quality and attention. Should ah/Could ah/Do It - No!! Buy with the intension to read this, close to your heart!! Again, God Speed.

Information is there, not well organized or presented. I perhaps purchased the wrong product, I think it must be solely for test prep. Will keep it and attempt to push forward with expanding my knowledge base but really expected something better.

I wish I could find the exact book I had before our house burned down! This is adequate for what I presently need. There are some features that I appreciate more like the algorithim-like way certain conditions are broken down. Actually, if I had both books, I could be a more effective instructor. Meanwhile, Thanks !

This is an excellent survey of First Aid. It has been useful for me as a review. The writing is succinct, the illustrations are superb and the layout and format are just great. HIghly recommended!!

It did the job well. Clear photos (A tad too graphic in the Wound section for reading near mealtime). Easy to read/follow format.

Had to take a first aid class and really couldn't care less about it, until I took the class. This book was actually interested and there was really good information that I now think everyone should know. Being a new dad the book kinda gave me a little piece of mind for some reason. I honestly think you should be required to cover this material in high school and middle school. Everyone should give this a read and I am definitely keeping it on my bookshelf.

has the best information I Have Ever Seen. My First Aid Class is going to be using this book in the Fall

Best 19 bucks I've spent. Although the book was very beat up on the outside, all pages were in tact. Great informative book. Using it for my First aid class. The 2 day delivery with my prime made the purchase even more worth the money spent.
