Wake Up To Your True Identity: 144 Empowering Proverbs For People Of The African Diaspora
Available To Downloads

Rewritten from the ground up, the second part of the book series, Wake Up To Your True Identity, is a collection of life-changing proverbs and commentaries, written specifically for black people around the world who were born outside of Africa. Unlike the first book, which taught us about our history and heritage; this book teaches us how to develop our character and spirit. Ever since being dispersed from Africa, we’ve been indoctrinated by the racist philosophies of our oppressors and have been living by these lies for centuries. As a result of this mis-education, our personal and spiritual growth has been horribly stunted, causing us to be stagnant in almost every arena of our lives. Thus, explaining the continuous state of depression that “black people” seem to have globally.Contrary to popular belief, a lack of money is NOT the cause of our unhappiness, being mis-educated is. Knowledge is power, and since we have been wrongly taught; we don’t have any power. So this book exists for one reason and for one reason only — to empower my people of the African Diaspora with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding you need to live a peaceful, productive, and purpose-driven life.

I really didn't know what to expect when I decided to purchase this book, but I'm glad I did. Reading this book was truly the "wake up" call I needed to confirm that I was on the right path regarding spirituality in tandem with my Black identity. I've more than struggled along the way with knowing God, but I've always been totally Black conscious. This book perfectly illustrates that pro-Black awareness is wholly in sync with spiritual development. Actually, if you are a Black person one cannot go without the other. The Blacker you become, the more intuned with God you become. It can be a lonely journey but it's one worthy of taking....life affirming and lifesaving. Buy the book!

A well-written book and a great source of inspiration for anyone striving to tap the inner strength we all have. Highly recommended for our youths. Good to read along with other inspiring works like Disciples of Fortune, The Wretched of the Earth. Deserves the 5s it has been getting.

This book has some positive reinforcements but I can't say I read anything that was new information to me. I feel that this book would be a 5 star read for someone not as well read as I am but for me it was more of a refresher sprinkled with tidbits of Hotep logic.

Very Powerful book that will open the eyes and mind of brothers and sisters of color. Straight to the point with each proverb and it's raw and uncut truth. I personally love this book because it speaks to me about certain problems I have in my own life.

Black, white, yellow, green or red, there is knowledge in this book for all. I'm white and thoroughly enjoyed this read and please don't let the title sway your decision to read this book, after all we all come from the same source. I love you all.

If you have any doubt about who you are or why you are here, you will not after reading this book. This should be required reading for all Africans and African American. I know God is looking out. How else could he have provided such wonderful and needed literature. God bless this Author.

It's good, good quotes for brothers and sisters who are now finding out the truth, however I would like to encourage the author to not limit our presence to just America. The tribe of Judah are all those Blacks that were carried off in boats (to the Americas, Europe, Caribbean). The remainder of tribes (11) are in Africa and other places outside of Africa. I like how many of us are waking UP.A good channel on youtube is WATCHMAN.Some good books are out there, "Hebrewisms of West Africa" "The Ancient Black Hebrews and Arabs." Loads out there, when you put these in, others will pop up.

Very empowering to those who have an ear. I incorporate this book into my homeschool curriculum as a tool towards reading comprehension, essay writing, and as an individualized, though-provoking instrument. My teenaged son enjoys reading this book and we work on a proverb each day. The truth is not a comfort to those who are part of the lie. We are grateful for the Yah-inspired writings my our brother here and enjoy the blog site even moreso.
