I have downloaded many "complete works" sets of philosophers works. This is by far the best not just becaus eof lucidity of writing but also because It's so easy to navigate through the different sections of each book. Want to read book two of Categories? you literally just have to click on a link from the table of contents. Not enough Books do this.

I have studied Aristotle for a college class on my Kindle. This complete edition was very useful for searching and Kindle text to speech was a real help.

Compared to Plato's "Republic", Aristotle's "Politics" is much more focused. This is a biased statement, but I believe accurate, and I will continue this theme. Politics takes a neutral non-extremist view of the forms of government, whereas the other is very odd. The Republic features a shoddy dialogue (I'm comparing it to Xenophon's which I actually enjoy here.), whereas Politics just states Aristotle's position. I would recommend Aristotle to a friend, Plato I would not.

Terrible Translation. After reading through the mediocre Ethics and 100 pages of Politics, I chanced on an alternative translation of the latter by Benjamin Jowett. I had already read the entirety of his Plato translations, and they are excellent. So too is his Politics translation.Look elsewhere for your Aristotle.

great for reference - a little awkward for individual books, Has full Politics

He has been one of the greatest philosophers in history thru the years. I enjoy it very much. For sure recommended.

Who am I to presume to critique Aristotle? Aristotle is, was and always will be Aristotle.

The collection is quite comprehensive. I wish the navigation through it was better.
